Hudson Chamber Names New Chairman & Board Officers-
- Looks to leverage experience and expertise for the future -
The Hudson County Chamber of Commerce announced today the election of its new Chair and Officers of the organization's Board of Trustees. The election of these new executive officers continues the effort started in the last year to reshape the organization and increase the relevancy of the Chamber and its members to the communities throughout Hudson County. The Hudson County Chamber of Commerce has served the Hudson County business community since 1888.
"Leveraging the experience and expertise of our executive team will be important factors in our continuing effort to be the champion for business growth in Hudson County." said Brian J. Dunlap, President and CEO of the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce, "Their leadership and guidance are critical to our future success."
Joseph F. Scott was named Chair of the organization's Board of Trustees. He is President and CEO of LibertyHealth which includes Jersey City Medical Center/Wilzig Hospital. At the helm of LibertyHealth since January of 2008, his leadership team has developed and implemented a long range strategic plan. LibertyHealth employs 3,000 people in Hudson County and is one of the County's largest private employers. In addition, he holds board certification in healthcare management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
Patrick J. Disanto was named Vice Chair of the organization's Board of Trustees. He resides in Middlesex County and is Senior Vice President in Commercial Lending at TD Bank's Union City office. In addition, he is affiliated with Hudson County Community College Foundation and the Hispanic Mercantile Federation of Union City.
Connie Claman was named Treasurer of the organization's Board of Trustees. She resides in Union County and is Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Resource Administration at The Liberty Science Center in Jersey City. In addition, she is a Member of the Summit NJ Community Programs Advisory Board, Delegation member of Professional Women's Mission to India, Member of Executive Women of NJ, Board Alternate for Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance – NYC, Member of Liberty State Park Interdisciplinary Park Planning Committee, and Founding Member and first President of Destination: Jersey City marketing and signage program.
