Staff: Hudson County Chamber of Commerce
JOANNE VANDORN - President
Joanne joined the staff of the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce in 1992, assisting the President in all areas of Chamber activities, including the creation and implementation of various activities to serve the diverse constituency of the Chamber.
Before coming to the Chamber, Joanne was a project development officer and assistant executive director for the Jersey City Economic Development Corporation. She received her degree in history from Saint Peter's College in Jersey City and also attended classes at Montclair State University in urban studies. She currently serves on the advisory board of the Hudson County YWCA, and is treasurer of the Hudson County Coalition of Non-Profit Associations. Joanne lives in the historic Paulus Hook section of Jersey City with her son, Jim.
MARIA T. SANTOS - Corporate Secretary
Maria has been with the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce since 1987. She started as a receptionist and is now secretary to the president and corporate secretary of the Chamber's Board of Trustees. A 1977 graduate of Hoboken High School, Maria also completed a secretarial course at the School of Business Machines. She resides in Jersey City Heights with her husband Raul, and has three sons, Raul, Jr., Jose and Michael.
JANET ESTREMERA - Staff Assistant
Janet has been with the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce since October 2002. She started as a temporary employee and is now permanent. A 1994 graduate of James J. Ferris High School, Janet also completed a paralegal with office skills course at the Betty Owens Business School. She resides in Jersey City with her husband Norberto, and two children, Natalia Jalisse and Norberto Ivan.
