    Event Description:

    Micro Cooking Class Series
Basic Knife Skills with Chef Claude

An introductory session during which you’ll learn how to grip the knife properly. Learning how to hold and use a knife correctly will not only help you work more safely, but will also enable you to work faster, making you much more efficient in the kitchen. If safety and speed aren't enough incentives, good knife skills also allow you to cut your food uniformly.

    Some techniques to be covered:
    • How to cut properly
    • How to dice
    • How to mince
    • How to chiffonade
    • How to julienne
Also, tips for proper cleaning, sharpening and storing knives.

Proceeds from all our micro-cooking classes will support our Love Your Local Restaurant Relief Fund.
