Simple Dinners (Sunday Sauce & Meatballs) with Chef Claude
Get ready to wow the family with spaghetti and meatballs. Learn how to properly boil water for pasta, a basic tomato sauce, and a quick, easy recipe for meatballs. This dinner can easily be made gluten-free too.Ingredients needed are as follows:
- Tomato sauce
- Garlic
- Olive oil
- Ground meat (can be chicken, turkey, beef, pork, veal or any combination of two)
- Eggs
- Parsley (fresh flat-leaf or dried)
- Grated cheese
- Breadcrumbs (GF version)

Our Instructor is Chef Claude Lewis!
A native of Jersey City and Food Networks Chopped Champion, Chef Claude Lewis is also the owner, operator, and head chef of Freetown Road Restaurant in Jersey City. A representation of West Indian culture, and Caribbean flavors, Chef Claude's menu at Freetown Road incorporates modern techniques that he has acquired throughout his 15+ years of culinary experience.
